Josh’s diverse theatrical interests have led him to work with a wide-array of production teams, in venues large and small across North America.

He holds a BFA in Theatre Acting from York University and trained in the Stratford Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory, under principal Martha Henry. Josh is a regular Stratford Festival company member. 

Beyond acting, Josh has developed his playwriting talents through training programs at Tarragon Theatre and Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal and has created new work with a number of independent ensembles.

In addition, he worked as a producer at international commercial giant Starvox Entertainment, giving him an expert understanding of the business side of commercial theatre.

In his work, Josh aims to strike a balance between the poetic excellence of classical Western theatre, the raw aesthetic of punk shows.
