Josh’s diverse interests and passion for theatrical performance have led him to work with a wide-array of ensembles and production teams, in venues large and small across North America.

Josh holds a BFA in Theatre Acting from York University and trained in the Stratford Festival’s Birmingham Conservatory, under principal Martha Henry. He is a regular Stratford Festival company member. 

Josh is also a dedicate theatre maker and playwright, having spent years involved in multiple independent troupes and projects.

In addition, he worked as a producer at international commercial giant Starvox Entertainment, giving him an expert understanding of the business side of commercial theatre.

In his work, Josh aims to strike a balance between the poetic excellence of classical Western theatre, the raw aesthetic of punk shows.
